Date: Tuesday, December 14, 2021
Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Location: Zoom
Speaker: Sue Gabriel, Beverly Bootstraps; Linda Saris, Leap for Education
How are nonprofits working to improve the educational outcomes of local youth? What are local organizations doing to improve the self sufficiency of individuals and families?
Find out how two local nonprofits are meeting their missions in our communities at the ECEPC's first Highlighting Nonprofits, a series of events designed to introduce Council members to local nonprofits doing extraordinary work in Essex County.
We hope you will join us to hear from Sue Gabriel of Beverly Bootstraps and Linda Saris of Leap for Education.
- Beverly Bootstraps provides critical emergency and long-term assistance -- including access to food, housing, stability, adult and youth programs, education and more -- so that individuals and families can achieve self sufficiency.
- Leap for Education teaches students academic and life skills needed to perform at higher levels in middle school and high school, and provides ongoing personalized support and community connections that help them graduate from college and pursue their dreams.
We hope you will join us to give some visibility to these two amazing organizations.
