Year End Tax Planning
Please join the Essex County Estate Planning Council on Nov. 1, 2016 for our annual Year End Tax Planning Meeting featuring Sarah Willwerth-Dyer, CPA, Anthony & Dodge, PC and Ryan Swartz, Esq., of McLane Middleton.
Breakfast will be served at 7:30am, followed by our distinguished speakers at 8am.

Fees are as follows: Members and first-time guests of members, $35; Non-members, $60.
Season passholders are admitted to this event at no additional cost, but should still register online to ensure an accurate head count. Please select the "pre-paid" option when registering.

About our Speakers
Sarah Willwerth-Dyer joined Anthony & Dodge, PC in 1995 and became a partner in 2007. Before her career in public accounting, she was involved in various facets of finance and accounting in private industry. Sarah has extensive experience providing consulting, tax and accounting services for high net worth individuals, their families and their businesses.
Sarah works closely with individuals and their advisors to provide comprehensive income tax planning and compliance services. She considers her clients’ goals and objectives as she consults on tax issues affecting their families, trusts and other gift, estate and investment entities.
For her closely held business clients, Sarah provides accounting, tax and business advisory services. Sarah handles federal and multi-state corporate issues, and advises on choice of entity, operations and the transition of ownership. She has worked with C corporations, S corporations, partnerships/LLCs and their respective owners/partners.
In addition, Sarah has significant experience working with not-for-profit organizations focusing on audit, review and compilation as well as federal and state compliance reporting and unrelated business income tax return preparation.
Sarah is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. She has served on several local non-profit boards around the NorthShore.
Ryan Swartz is director of the Trusts & Estates Department at McLane Middleton where he advises individuals and families regarding various planning matters, including estate, gift, income and generation skipping transfer tax strategies. He advises fiduciaries in conservatorship, probate and trust administration matters. Ryan also counsels individuals and business owners regarding business succession planning and various asset protection techniques, including limited liability companies, asset protection trusts and irrevocable Medicaid trusts.
Ryan completed a Judicial Clerkship with the Massachusetts Superior Court (2003-2004). He received his J.D. cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School (2003) and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (1999).
