Please join the Essex County Estate Planning Council on March 11, 2015 for an educational breakfast featuring a panel of elder care experts who will discuss planning for the transition from independent living to assisted living from a financial, social and legal perspective.
Breakfast will be served at 7:30am, followed by our distinguished speakers at 8am.

Fees are as follows: Members and first-time guests of members, $35; Non-members, $60.

About our Speakers
Dianne Savastano, MBA, holds a BS in Nursing, and is the Principal and Founder of Healthassist. As a healthcare advocate, Dianne helps individuals and families facing a major healthcare issue navigate the complexities of the healthcare system to ensure the best quality care and best outcomes. Those transitioning from home to the hospital, hospital to rehab or rehab to home-based services; children caring for an aging parent, and individuals being treated by multiple specialists are among the many different situations Dianne sees in her work.
Eileen Berman, M.Ed., M.S., is founder and president of Independent Living Solutions, Inc., where she works as a geriatric care manager helping to educate, provide guidance and offer advice to families caring for an aging parent or other loved one. ILS offers comprehensive services including assessments, care planning, service coordination and monitoring, advocacy and more.
Paul Bernstein, Esq., of The Bernstein Law Group, PC, has over 20 years experience in Estate Planning, Business Planning, Asset Protection Planning and Trust and Probate Administration. Mr. Bernstein is an expert in Elder Law and frequently assists clients with nursing home/long-term care cost planning and incapacity planning should an illness or accident occur.
